The AltRider AT20-1-1200 Skid Plate is a heavy-duty engine protection system designed specifically for the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin and Africa Twin Adventure Sports (2024–2026) . Engineered for serious adventure riding, it protects the underside of the motorcycle, including the engine cases, exhaust headers, and lower components , from rocks, impacts, and off-road obstacles.
Manufactured from a single piece of 4.1 mm (0.16 inch) aluminum , the AltRider skid plate features a strong one-piece design with TIG-welded construction, providing excellent impact resistance while maintaining ground clearance. The design allows oil changes without removing the skid plate and is compatible with both manual transmission and DCT models (excluding optional DCT foot shifter).
